CLINICAL SERVICES

Picture

We offer a full compliment of clinic services which include assessment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries that are geared to your specific goals.  Whether it is returning to high level sports, or wanting to walk without the assistance of a cane. Our specific and extensive training with a multitude of injuries has perfected our abilities to become well rounded in injury rehabilitation. No matter what your end goal might be, we are prepared to help you return to your sport or activity of your preference.

Assessments: Typically an hour in length, the assessment involves general and specific questions on your health and previous medical history, observation, gait analysis, rule out other potential problems, functional testing, palpation and a modified treatment. At the end of an assessment you will have a clearer understanding of the injury you have incurred and the treatment plan to move forward with.

Rehabilitation: Sessions can either be one hour, 45 minutes or 30 minutes in length depending on the injury and timeline of healing. Rehabilitation sessions include modality applications (ultrasound, IFC, TENS, NMES, etc.), pain management, manual techniques, and exercise prescription (stretching, strengthening, proprioception).  Our treatment sessions are tailored to your specific injury and rehab goals.

Concussions: We offer extensive baseline testing for both individuals and teams. Baseline testing is important to complete prior to competition in order to have "normal" data on each athlete. In the event that a concussion occurs, we can then compare the athlete's recovery to their pre-injury data to determine return-to-play timelines. We also offer post-concussion management plans in order to help athletes with the rehabilitation phase of concussions and to help them return-to-learn and return-to-sport in a safe and effective manner.
